Do generated QR codes expire?

No. These are static QR codes containing the value directly. They continue working as long as the encoded destination or information remains valid.

Are URLs or Wi-Fi passwords uploaded?

No. QR generation happens entirely inside your browser. BigForgeKit does not upload the encoded content.

What does error correction mean?

Error correction allows a QR code to remain readable when part of it is damaged or obscured. Higher levels improve resilience but produce denser codes.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

PNG is convenient for websites and documents. SVG is resolution-independent and is generally preferable for printing or resizing.
